How does this handle leap years?
The calculator uses your browser's built-in JavaScript Date object, which follows the full Gregorian calendar rules — including February 29th in leap years — so year, month, and day counts are exact.
Is my birth date uploaded anywhere?
No. All date calculations run locally in your browser's memory. Your birth date is never transmitted to our servers or stored anywhere.
Why does my age in months and days look different from other calculators?
There's no single standard for counting partial months — some tools count 30-day blocks, others count calendar months. This calculator counts real calendar months (e.g. Jan 15 to Feb 15 is exactly one month regardless of length), which matches how ages are stated on official documents.
What was I born on — which day of the week?
