SEO Tools
Preview exactly how a page will look in Google search results, and audit its on-page basics — both free and running entirely in your browser.
Choose a Tool
Both run entirely in your browser — nothing you type or paste is uploaded.
SERP Snippet Preview
Type a title and meta description and see exactly how they will render in a Google search result, with pixel-accurate truncation rather than a flat character count.
On-Page SEO Checker
Paste a page's HTML and get an instant checklist covering its title, meta description, headings, image alt text, canonical tag, and more.
What These Tools Actually Do
Neither tool checks your ranking — no free, honest tool can, since Google has no public API for that. Both check the things that are genuinely within your control.
Pixel-Width Truncation
Measures your title and description the way Google renders them, not with a flat character count.
Desktop & Mobile
See how the same snippet differs between a desktop result and a phone, where titles wrap instead of truncating.
On-Page Checklist
Title, description, H1, headings, alt text, canonical, robots, viewport and Open Graph — checked in one pass.
Fully Private
Both tools run entirely client-side. Nothing you type or paste is sent to a server.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do these tools check my Google ranking?
No. Checking where a page actually ranks requires querying Google's live search results, which has no free or reliable way to do from a browser — it either requires a paid third-party API or scraping Google in a way that violates its terms of service. These tools instead check the things within your control: how your snippet will look, and whether the on-page basics are in place. Your actual Search Console account is the accurate, free source for real ranking and impression data.
Can I check a page that belongs to someone else?
The SERP Preview works on any title and description you type in, regardless of whose page it is for. The On-Page Checker needs the page's HTML pasted in, which you can get from any public page by viewing its source — so yes, as long as you can view the page yourself.
Is any of this uploaded to a server?
No. Both tools run entirely in your browser — one measures text width with the Canvas API, the other parses HTML with the browser's built-in DOMParser. Nothing you type or paste is transmitted anywhere.
About These Tools
Checking an actual Google ranking requires querying live search results, and Google has no public, free way to do that. Any site offering a free rank checker is either paying for a third-party search API behind the scenes or scraping Google directly, which violates Google's terms of service and gets blocked quickly. We chose not to build that. Instead, these two tools focus on what you can actually control and verify yourself: how your snippet renders, and whether the on-page fundamentals are in place.
Both run entirely in your browser. For details on analytics and third-party ad requests, see our Privacy Policy.
